Printmaker & Textile Designer

Hannah Cantellow

Hello, I'm Hannah an artist, printmaker and designer. I create custom artworks, linocut prints, commissions and surface pattern designs. My original linocuts and woodcuts start as hand drawn designs, which I carve by hand and handprint. I spend most of my time printing in my studio in Wiltshire, in the South West of England UK. I studied Fine Art and specialised in printmaking; collagraphs, relief print, etching and screen printing. During this time, I found a love for teaching others and became a qualified lecturer in 2013. I have now been teaching for more than 10 years and teach in-person linocut workshops locally in Wiltshire. I went on to study Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking at the University of the West of England in Bristol in 2014, and in 2018 graduated with a Masters in Social Sculpture & Connective Practice at Oxford Brookes University. I finally took the leap to to start my own business Hannah Cantellow Studio, I'm now regularly selling my original linocut and woodcut prints both locally in Wiltshire and online. I can't wait to teach you the magic of printmaking!

I would recommend Hannah as she is very down to earth and understanding. She has a wide skillset and is able to offer multiple processes to achieve the same outcome, which is perfect for those who prefer a range of learning techniques.
